YOU HAVE A DREAM

Are you at a point in your life when the dream of a career as a serious, well-respected actor is conflicting with reality? At first, you thought a move to NYC, getting headshots, typing out a resume, and searching for NYC acting studios seemed like a substantial step forward? Perhaps you are frustrated, having cobbled together a hodge-podge of workshops, acting lessons, and scene-study classes only to realize that you still have no idea how to act? The Maggie Flanigan Studio was created as a two-year acting conservatory to provide you with the opportunity to meld talent with hard work and craft. If you are serious and passionate about a long artistic career, then our faculty is dedicated to helping you achieve that goal.

But it starts with you. Most likely your curiosity and love of acting began in childhood. For some reason, that excitement and fascination with the art of acting has never left you. Something keeps nagging at you to start looking for professional acting classes in New York City. If you have a dream left unfulfilled, at some point a time will come to either roll the dice on yourself or decide that this will remain a dream left unfulfilled. But if you are willing to bust your ass, play full out with yourself, and strive to operate outside of your comfort zone, then our NYC acting studio may be an artistic home for you.

THE BEST ACTING PROGRAMS IN NEW YORK

Our two-year acting conservatory is divided into two semesters: fall and spring. We also have a summer semester, which includes our Summer Acting Program as well as various Professional Actor Training Program (PATP) classes. MFS also has the Professional Actor Business Program as a third year option. Every summer the studio offers the Meisner Summer Intensive, as a six week professional acting program.

Government regulations state that M1 VISA students must enroll in the PATP.
